Our 16+ programme is designed to offer young people the freedom to experience the real life pressures of the outside world as well as enjoying the freedoms and responsibilities of living as independently as their skills allow.

Our programmes are adapted to the young person's emotional and physical needs at any given time

so that the young person can play a full, meaningful and appropriate part in their community and form constructive relationships with those around them.


Each individual/family is offered direct, face to face work with an experienced Outreach Worker.

Care is taken to match the worker, where possible, to the particular cultural needs of the client(s).

The package of support is intended to assist individuals with: 

- Living skills

- Home maintenance

- Home Office liaison


Next Step Care Management Ltd is offering a real alternative for non violent offenders who make up almost 80% of those Young people, who receive custodial sentences.

The schemes below are designed at reducing the number of young people being taken into custody which many argue does not work, and minimising the risk of those in danger of re-offending. Shared Accommodation

Emergency Placements

Our shared accommodation scheme has become a popular option

with many of the local authorities we work with.

It enables young people leaving care to learn independence skills in

a safe environment, with regular support from outreach workers,

whilst helping to avoid the feelings of loneliness and isolation many of them describe.

Support Includes:

- 3 Hours Individual Outreach 

We can offer:

- Good quality one/two bedroom flat in chosen area.

- Good quality furniture and white goods. 

- Starter Pack of provisions and sundry household items. 

- Baby Package (cot, baby chair, buggy, toys, etc.). 

- Child Safety Pack (safety gate, plug covers, etc.).

- £50 Starter Pack (nappies, wipes, creams, etc.)

Next Step Care Management will accept referrals on an emergency basis.

- Places are limited.

Please ring your nearest area office to check availability.

- The person must have a nominated social worker or probation officer.

- Referral form and funding agreement is to be completed by a social

 worker or probation officer prior to admission.
